When you think of Heaven and Hell, to which one do you believe you will go when you die?

As a Christian I believe that there is only one Way to Heaven and that is by Way of Jesus. Now, if that is true, does that mean that all other ways are false, and that anyone who follows them will go to Hell? The answer is yes. It has to be. Let me explain.

Jesus is God. He is God in the flesh. He was (is) fully God and fully man. Being that He is, then He can only speak the truth and He will not lie. During His stay here on earth, Jesus taught that He was the only way to the Father.

In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Now, think about that for a moment. If Jesus is God, and He will not lie, then what He has said is the truth; He said He was the truth. And if He speaks the truth then the only Way to heaven, to the Father, can only be through Him.

In John 10:1 Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.”

Are you trying to steal you way into Heaven? By that I mean, are you trying to get to Heaven your way? Proverbs 14:12 says this, “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Death being eternal separation from God; we call it Hell.

Many believe that there are many ways to salvation, to being forgiven for our sins, to getting into Heaven. They will say that Christianity is but one of many ways on the path to Heaven, and that this Path is wide enough for all to travel upon, but is that true?

In Luke 7:13, 14 Jesus says the following, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

So, what do we have? Either Jesus is a good man and a good prophet but, He has been misleading mankind for generations with His lies, or He is Who He says that He is, that He speaks the truth and that the only Way to receiving forgivness for our sins, to obtaining entrance into Heaven is by submitting to Him as Lord as well as Savior.

Think about that! Who do you believe – God or man? Jesus said, “no one comes to the Father but by Me!” If you die apart from Jesus, if you die without having submitted to Jesus as Lord you will die in your sins and you will spend eternity in Hell.

Yes, the Way to the Father, to receiving forgiveness for our sins is very narrow. Jesus is the narrow way and you can believe in Him; everything else is false and leads to destruction.

Look at yourself. In whom are you trusting? How narrow is the Way that you are traveling? Bow to the Lord Jesus, submit to Him, know what it means to travel the narrow way and so be saved and loved by the Father for all eternity.
